Toyota Australia saw an opportunity to provide a fleet management platform for its business customers, providing a way for them to optimize their fleet operations and improve efficiencies. With a plan to first offer such a service to its larger national fleet customers, Toyota also had plans to roll the option through its dealerships to accommodate customers with smaller fleets of vehicles.
In exploring connected vehicle platforms, Toyota executives were looking for a solution that would accommodate a developing suite of features for its customers, giving those clients the power to process extensive data from thousands of vehicles through near real-time monitoring.
In partnership with Rand McNally and its Rand Platform, Toyota launched Toyota Halo – a fully integrated, connected platform to help business customers effectively manage fleet operations. Data collected via the solution provides valuable insights that helps managers optimize operations and take actions to increase productivity and improve time and cost efficiencies.
From operations to deliveries, driver well-being to customer service, Toyota Halo’s connected fleet management software offers a suite of smart features designed to help grow every part of the business.
